HomeEducational ActivitiesTours for the Deaf

On Wednesdays and Saturdays the Vatican Museums offer free guided Tours for the Deaf in Italian Sign Language (LIS). Visits are conducted by deaf didactic guides who have received specialised training in the Vatican Museums.

The formation of deaf didactic guides not only enlarges the range of guided tours offered by the Vatican Museums, responding to the needs of hospitality and accessibility by these visitors, but they also wish to encourage the professional autonomy of deaf persons.
